Joyce Hill was so proud of CH, PR Sanskrit Curtsy of Royalrebel, DM and always loved sharing stories of Curtsy. I remember meeting Joyce Hill about 17 years ago at Marta Wacek's (Limeridge) home. As it has been a long time, the details are fuzzy, but I do remember how she glowed with pride as she spoke of Curtsy and showed me pictures of Curtsy that she kept in her wallet.
Like many Silvers of yesterday and today, Joyce loved flamboyant cage curtains and decorations. She showed me several pictures of Curtsy and other lovely Sanskrit kitties sitting on a miniature brass bed, along with other charming decorations, creating a darling little boudoir within the benching cage. Joyce is so right in being so proud of Curtsy, as she was gorgeous, very refined Chinchilla silver, with a face to die for. She had large eyes, spaced wide apart and a gorgeous tophead and tiny ear set. I do not think she was a big cat, but she was truly a exquisite example of our ethereal Silvers.
CH, PR Sanskrit Curtsy of Royalrebel, DM was born on April 27, 1978. She was out of CH, PR Escapade of Fayron and CH Sanskrit Kizzy. When Curtsy was still a kitten, Joyce sold her to Anne Malone, of the renowned Royalrebel cattery and soon proved to be a prolific dam. Breeding Curtsy to CH Walnut Hill Wirlwind of Royalrebel was a match made in heaven as from that breeding we have five "Grand" offspring: GC Royalrebel Fantasy, Chinchilla Silver Persian female; GP Royalrebel Gidget, Shaded Silver Persian female; GC Wokanda Martini of Silvacreek, Shaded Silver female, born 06/18/1980; and littermates GC Wokanda Courtney of Silvacreek and GC Wokanda Dirory of Diadem both Shaded Silver males.
CH, PR Sanskrit Curtsy of Royalrebel, DM contributed much to our beautiful silvers and can be found behind many top winning cats of today.
