Commemorate the good times spent with friends and competitors showing our beautiful Silver and Golden Persians and exotics! Remember to pack your camera with your show gear and take a quick review of Photo Tips and you are good to go! Remember to get close to your subjects and fill that frame and focus! Please be courteous and ask permission of your subjects prior to your submission to the Quartely. Submission of flattering photos of our fellow competitors reflects well on the photographer and the cat fancy in general.
2009 CFA International Cat Show
Protocol:
Show scenes are pictures taken at a show. Three pictures maximum per person per show.
A group picture of silver golden exhibitors does not count in the maximum.
Please send only one picture with a judge and cat, the owner or breeder with the cat and one picture of the cat only, taken at the show however, not a professional picture.
We do not want to see three pictures taken at the same show of the owner or breeder with their cat; but would like to see different poses; a variety if you will. This makes the show scenes more interesting for all to see.
If you are running a cat, you may submit three pictures per show, but please try to make the pictures different so it can be interesting for all members enjoyment in viewing. For example, if you have entered three cats in a show, we want to see the three cat's pictures, but not nine pictures of basically the same photo; one with a judge if possible, one of the owner with one cat or you can hold both cats and then you can take individual pictures of each cat you are showing. In this example the owner would be submitting four or maybe five pictures and we would accept them. The key here is that they are of different cats and not always in the same pose.
The verbiage under each photo must be consistent with each picture.
The section editor has the final say if the picture is used.
