This feature can include both health and/or task related items related to our Silvers, Goldens, Blues and Exotics as well as pictures of interest. In our last issue [Spring 2010] you will find the beginnings for this on p. 28 following the Dentistry article, contributed by Linda Smith (SirBastion Silvers). Linda Smith has graciously voluteered to take on the task of collecting everyones' submissions:

Submitted by Kat Franz of Bookats Cattery: To reduce the likelihood of pills escaping the mouth, I started doing something different. I crush the pill and add it to either warm water or tuna water (about three CC's) and then I syringe the meds. This works a lot better and it's always a good idea to follow pills with water anyway. This way I kill two birds with one stone. My freezer has several containers of the water I drain off cans of tuna just for this purpose--try it sometime, it works like a charm!
